Back Alley has been ROCKIN' central Pennsylvania for over 20 years. This DuBois band has been at the top of their game since 1991! By keeping true to their roots and playing good Classic Rock and Roll, Back Alley has remained one of the hardest working bands in the area. This is the band that everyone enjoys. You'll come to listen and soon find yourself Bustin' a Move. Back Alley was started by keyboard player Denny Carpin, who has been playing music since he was a small child. Denny wanted to start a solid rock band that played only danceable music. He wanted to do more than put on a show, he wanted everyone to dance and have a great time, too! He enlisted Bill Boyle, whose solid, intelligent drumming style worked perfectly to create that perfect "ROCK" sound. Tom Frech came along in 1995, on lead vocals and bass guitar. Screamin' out songs by AC/DC, Judas Priest and other heavy hitters, Tom made the music come ALIVE. Tom's rhythmic style of bass playing complimented Bill Boyle's beat and together they get your feet movin' like nobody's business. At the beginning of the new millennium Back Alley was BLESSED to receive the most profound guitarist this area has ever heard. Butch Salada. Butch has played in bands from DuBois to Ethiopia to New York City and back. His tone and expertise is unapproachable. Other guitarists joke that when you mention Butch's name, you should take a knee in his honor. His great skillful playing completed Back Alley's signature sound. Full, lush, rich and sometimes beautiful keyboards coupled with a very strong rhythm section, topped off with supreme guitar and excellent vocals, makes Back Alley one of the greatest bands that you will ever hear. Join these four great friends, having a great time whenever you get the opportunity. You won't regret it!
